Matthew Williamson
I know it seems as though everything I have posted is England related, but this post is no exception. When I first arrived in London I went to a fashion exhibit at the Somerset House right next to my school. It was a special exhibit of Dior and therefore you had to pay. My friends and I opted for the free exhibit: Matthew Williamson. I had never heard of him before, but the photographs of his...

Jill Stuart
I first took notice of Jill Stuart when I saw her Spring 2010 RTW collection. The majority of the looks were tiny little black and white dresses with geometric cut outs along the collar bone and ribs. Is that you Debra Morgan?
Look who appeared at the Rag & Bones show at New York Fashion Week! Absent, but not missed, from the runway were stick-thin, androgynous-framed models. Along with this celebration...

Top Shop Turns Back Time
Floral Skirts, Fringe T-shirts, Floor Length Dresses, Denim High-Waisted Bell Bottoms, Circular Sunglasses, Crocheted Knits, Wooden Platforms, and Ruffled Blouses dress the mannequins of the Top Shop window displays around London. I think it’s safe to say that the 1970’s are officially back in style.

London
Here are two pictures I took whilst in London. The first one is on the Strand close to Trafalgar Square. The second one was shot on Westminster Bridge of the London Eye on the Thames River.

America, Meet Kurt Geiger
As I’ve shopped around in London (Oxford Street, Regent Street, High Street just to name some of the most well known ones) I’ve become transfixed by a designer I’ve never heard of before but find myself gravitating towards his shoes wherever they are sold, which is everywhere! His name is Kurt Geiger and he is not new to the fashion industry at all, just new to me. A brief...
