The hues of spring have been synonymous with pastels and this spring is no different. Although we’ve seen splashes of neon for resort wear, cue to Michael Kors’ 2012 Resort collection of scuba diving wetsuit inspired looks in acid green and hot pink, spring is all about the subtleness and femininity which include colors of lavender, sherbet orange, pale pink, and a soft citrus green.

To the left is a vintage Tweed Chanel dress and jacket that was on display at the Revisiting 18th Century Fashion Exhibition at the Grand Trianon at Versailles that I had the privilege and pleasure of seeing this summer. To the right is Lady Gaga in a “one of a kind” design that Karl Lagerfeld personally created for her to wear for the opening of her Gaga Workshop Holiday Window at Barney’s New York.

It seems that DANNIJO has monopolized on the bib/collar necklaces. The only problem with that? They are WAYY out of my college-girl bank account. So I went to fast-fashion to remedy my yearning for a bib necklace. Forever21 had an assortment of fun trendy necklaces and this one (picture shown above) was sticking out like a sore thumb waiting for me to purchase it. The cost you ask? $8.80!
